Yarsha Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 2025/05/01
Last Updated: 2025/05/23

Introduction

Yarsha ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Yarsha mobile application. By using Yarsha, you agree to the practices described in this policy, including the uploading of personal data to our secure servers where applicable.

Consent to Data Collection and Upload

We only collect and upload personal data after obtaining your explicit consent. When the app requests access to features such as your camera, contacts, or microphone, we clearly explain why the data is needed and how it will be used. No data is transmitted without your prior approval.

You may revoke your consent at any time by adjusting your device settings or contacting us directly.

Information Collection

We collect information that you voluntarily provide, including your phone number and any messages sent to our support team. Yarsha uses end-to-end encryption for chat; messages are encrypted on your device and are not accessible by our servers.

If you grant permission, we may access device features including contacts, camera, microphone, and storage. Some of this data may be uploaded to our servers to enable app functionality (e.g., sending a photo to another user).

For Android and iOS users, this may include biometric authentication, location, media files, internet activity, and push tokens. These are used solely for app features, diagnostics, or security and never for marketing or ad targeting.

Use of Information

We use your information to support secure messaging, token transactions, bug reporting, app improvements, and access control. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

Blockchain Interactions

Yarsha supports blockchain-based actions through Solana Blinks. Your wallet address and token transactions are handled publicly on the Solana blockchain and are immutable. You are solely responsible for verifying on-chain transactions before confirming.

Third-Party Services

Yarsha uses trusted third-party tools to power infrastructure and diagnostics. These include Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics), Twilio (SMS), Sentry (monitoring), and Google Cloud (storage). All data shared with these services is limited to what’s necessary and handled securely under strict agreements.

Security

We apply strong security measures including encryption, limited access, and secure infrastructure. However, no system is entirely immune to breaches. Please notify us immediately if you suspect any security issue.

Your Rights and Controls

You can manage your app permissions (e.g., location, camera, contacts) via your device settings. If you withdraw consent, affected app features may no longer work. You may also request access to, or deletion of, your personal data by contacting us.

Children’s Privacy

Yarsha is not intended for individuals under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 17. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will promptly delete it.

Policy Updates

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to practices or legal obligations. We will update the “Last Updated” date accordingly. Continued use of the app implies your acceptance of these changes.
